What to expect

We’re a small team, so please allow a few business days for a reply. If you’re reporting a calculation that doesn’t look right, including the calculator name and the inputs you used helps us check it quickly.

Corrections

Accuracy matters to us. If a tax figure or formula is out of date, let us know and we’ll review and update it. The most helpful reports name the calculator, list the exact inputs you entered, and say what result you expected and why, ideally with a source. That lets us reproduce the issue and fix it without a lot of back and forth.

Suggest a calculator or guide

A lot of our tools started as reader requests. If there is a money question you wish you could answer in a few seconds, tell us what you are trying to work out and the inputs you would expect to enter. We keep a running list of ideas and prioritize the ones people ask for most.

Advertising and partnerships

Advertising keeps FinanceTool free to use, and we keep ads clearly separated from our calculators and guides so they never change a result or a recommendation. For media, sponsorship, or partnership enquiries, email us with a short note about what you have in mind and we’ll get back to you.

Privacy and data requests

The numbers you type into a calculator are processed in your browser and are not sent to us or stored on a server. For questions about cookies, advertising identifiers, or a formal data request, write to the same address and our hello@financetool.tech inbox will route it to the right place.
