Scope: calculators, website browsing, regional pricing and manual reporting enquiries.

FinanceTool is operated by Graham Stanes J at https://financetool.tech. In this policy, “we” means the operator of FinanceTool. This policy explains what information we collect, how cookies and third-party advertising work on the site, and the choices you have. We’ve tried to keep it short and in plain English.

Manual reporting and document exchange

Graham offers manual monthly P&L explanations arranged by enquiry. Automated AI report generation is not offered on this site. There is no report-upload facility. Calculator inputs stay in the browser; this does not describe the handling of documents you choose to share for a separate manual service.

Before sharing sensitive documents, agree a secure exchange method with Graham and confirm how the records will be used, who will receive them and the retention arrangements. Do not attach financial statements or sensitive records to an initial email enquiry. No audited security claim or fixed document-retention period is made in this policy.

Email enquiries

If you email hello@financetool.tech, your email address and the information in your message are received so the operator can handle your enquiry. This is separate from using a calculator. Do not attach financial statements, account numbers or other sensitive records to an initial enquiry; agree secure document exchange first. Never send passwords or account credentials. No specific email retention period is promised in this policy.

Information we collect

You do not need an account to use the calculators. Calculator inputs are used for browser-local arithmetic; running a calculation does not require providing your name, email or a financial document. This description concerns calculator math, not all data associated with visiting the website.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you visit. These technical records are distinct from the numbers entered into calculator fields. Browser-local calculation does not mean all website browsing is anonymous.

Country-level regional pricing

The pricing page uses Cloudflare’s IP-derived country information to select India or international pricing. The pricing endpoint returns only that region, not your IP address or exact location. The pricing code does not add storage of your IP address; this does not remove or change the hosting provider’s technical logs described above.

You can manually choose INR or USD on the pricing page. That choice is not saved in a cookie or local storage.

Cookies and local storage

Third-party advertising and any analytics used on the site may use cookies or similar technologies. These are separate from the calculator math, which runs in your browser. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling them will not stop the calculators from working.

Advertising and Google AdSense

The calculators on FinanceTool are free and ad-supported. Third-party advertising providers, including Google where its ads are served, may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on visits to this and other websites.

Where Google advertising is served, Google may use cookies to serve ads. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to FinanceTool and/or other sites on the internet.
Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or others.

Our guides sometimes link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Children’s privacy

FinanceTool is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access or delete personal data. Local calculation does not rule out personal data in technical records, advertising identifiers or email correspondence.
